THE CHALLENGE
16 St. Stephen's Green is a stunning new development in the heart of Dublin comprising a beautifully restored Georgian building overlooking the green and a cutting edge new office development, connected by a contemporary glass bridge. Just before the new offices were fitted out we were asked to set the scene for a special event on the sixth floor.
THE SOLUTION
Taking inspiration from the Georgian arches within the original building, we created a subtly branded mirrored archway midway across the bridge between both buildings, reflecting the old and contemporary architecture.
We designed the branded backdrop with mirrored returns, and a simple, pared back stage riser.
We carried the mirrored look through to the event space, using a fully mirrored bar and backbar with a planted Gridwall backdrop.
Black metal pod tables, clear polycarbonate Igloo high stools and various potted plants were placed throughout the space to finish the look.
A voile and Link wall partition concealed the catering space.
